Accommodation in Taipei

My first trip to Taiwan was on February 2016 and the weather was just nice to travel, it was around 16 Celsius. We love to travel during winter / cold weather especially as a backpacker as you won't get sweat and feel frustrated under the hot sun when you trying to figure out the destination. This kind of weather makes you feel rather relax and chill.

I was kinda lost and totally have no idea when it comes to plan for this trip as too many Chinese character or pinyin in my research, kinda confused even thought i do understand Chinese!

And thanks god, my friend was so kind to share with me an accommodation which is located at Taipei Main Station and it's so strategic whereby this station is the center of the interchange of TRA / HSR / MRT / bus. Besides that, there are few shopping malls linked together. It's a huge station, therefore please remember the exit from the train station otherwise you will get confuse and lost in the station / mall.

The price of the room cost about RM250 / night. And they have two type of rooms and i stayed in the first pic as below:

It's a studio apartment actually!
Amenities :
- Washing machine (at the balcony)
- Detergent / hanger / wardrobe
- Hair Dryer / bathroom warmer / dental floss / cotton bud
- Face towel / towel (no room services to change towel)
- Mini fridge / kettle / cups / plates / stove
- Free WiFi / room slipper

Tips / Notes :
* Room is clean and quiet, highly recommended.
* Very convenient to access to public transport.
* Hotel in Taipei will be slightly expensive especially during weekend.
* You may need to contact the person in charged to get the room access card, advisable to call the person when you arrive at Taipei Main Station. If you do not have local sim card, don't worry! There is a public phone near to Watson / convenient store. (Basically the person in charged will be around that area, so they will attend to you almost immediately!)

How to book this??
You need to contact the person in charged directly, and you will get some discount if you are recommended by their customer. (I wanted to book this room through some online website, but can't find it.) Leave me a message if you wish to book this :)
